14,000 Investors Have Deposited $150M Into XRP and RLUSD Yield Strategies

Doppler Finance disclosed the figures in a recent platform update, saying its XRP and RLUSD vaults have attracted more than $150 million since launching in February 2025. The same infrastructure now powers Earn products inside Bybit and Bitget Wallet and institutional vaults connected with SBI Ripple Asia, SBI Digital Finance and Evernorth. The important distinction is that this is not XRP staking.

XRP has no native staking mechanism. Instead, Doppler uses asset-neutral trading strategies and institutional custody to generate returns while aiming to keep exposure denominated in the deposited asset. XRP Yield Is Growing Without Native Staking Doppler says its two main strategies involve spot-perpetual basis trades and asset-neutral arbitrage across trading venues.

In practice, that means capital can capture funding-rate or pricing differences while trying to minimize directional exposure to XRP itself. Returns are then paid in the deposited asset rather than converted into dollars. That gives XRP holders another route beyond simply holding or selling the token.

XRP lending infrastructure is expanding across XRPL and adjacent networks, turning XRP into an asset that can increasingly be used for credit, liquidity and yield rather than payments alone. The Next Step Is Moving Yield Onchain Doppler is now building beyond its original CeDeFi vault model. The company says XLS-66 lending on XRPL is planned for Q4 2026, subject to mainnet activation, while future strategies could include tokenized Treasuries, money-market funds, secured lending and private credit.

It is also developing transferable vault receipt tokens that would allow positions to be moved or used as collateral elsewhere onchain. RLUSD is already part of that expansion. Doppler launched its dedicated RLUSD vault in 2025, allowing deposits from both XRPL and Ethereum while keeping returns denominated in RLUSD.

The infrastructure is also spreading outside XRPL. Flare already supports XRP-denominated yield through FXRP, a 1:1 representation of XRP used in onchain vaults.
