Ethereum Price Prediction: ETH ETF Outflows Hit $431 Million

Key takeaways Ethereum ETFs lose $431 million over five sessions ETH futures liquidations exceed $350 million amid selling Traders monitor $2,200 support and $2,350 resistance Ethereum is attempting to stabilize near $2,240 on October 31 after a sharp selloff pushed ETH as low as $2,177, but continued institutional withdrawals are raising doubts about the durability of the recovery. According to CryptoETF Today's fund-flow tracker, US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded approximately $431. 4 million in net outflows across five consecutive sessions ending October 30.
The latest trading day alone accounted for a preliminary $155. 7 million in withdrawals. The figures suggest Ethereum faces a challenge beyond the $6.
3 billion Binance security breach: institutional demand has weakened even as buyers attempt to defend the psychological $2,200 level. Ethereum ETFs Lose $431 Million as Institutional Selling Accelerates Ethereum funds recorded withdrawals every trading day from October 26 through October 30, extending a difficult month for ETH investment products. BlackRock's ETHA led Friday's reported outflows with approximately $76.
6 million, followed by Grayscale's ETH fund with $34. 1 million. However, the October 30 total remains preliminary because three of the 11 tracked funds had not reported their figures when the dataset was checked.
The latest withdrawals deepen a trend Coinpaper highlighted in its earlier Ethereum ETF analysis, when October outflows had already exceeded $1 billion. More importantly, Ethereum has struggled to attract the same institutional interest as Bitcoin. Bitcoin ETFs received positive flows during several sessions earlier in the week before suffering approximately $643 million in Friday withdrawals.
Ethereum ETFs, by contrast, recorded five consecutive days of redemptions, signaling persistent pressure rather than a single-session reversal. The weakness comes despite Ethereum's extensive use in decentralized finance, stablecoins and tokenized financial assets. 3 billion in digital assets. According to FXStreet's October 30 market analysis, ETH fell from around $2,330 to $2,177 as derivatives traders experienced more than $350 million in liquidations. Long positions accounted for approximately $311 million of the total, indicating that investors betting on rising prices absorbed most of the forced closures.
The selloff also pushed Ethereum's futures funding rate into negative territory, suggesting traders were increasingly positioning for further declines. Coinpaper previously reported that the Binance attacker controlled substantial ETH balances, raising concerns about possible future selling. However, cryptocurrency held in attacker-linked wallets does not automatically translate into immediate market supply.
Investigators must distinguish token movements, swaps and actual exchange sales. The wider financial environment is adding pressure as investors reduce exposure to technology stocks following disappointing earnings reactions and concerns about AI infrastructure spending. Ethereum Price Prediction: Can ETH Hold $2,200?
Ethereum's rebound from $2,177 toward $2,240 suggests buyers are defending the $2,170–$2,200 area, at least temporarily. However, ETH remains below the $2,256 resistance identified in Friday's technical analysis, leaving the immediate recovery unconfirmed. A sustained move above $2,256 could support a recovery toward $2,350, followed by the psychologically important $2,400 level.
That upper region previously limited Ethereum's recovery attempts, as Coinpaper's $2,400 outlook highlighted before Friday's breakdown. Conversely, a decisive loss of $2,170 could expose $2,100, with $2,000 becoming a deeper downside scenario if selling accelerates. Earlier QCP-related analysis had already identified approximately $2,150 as an important area to monitor.
